On February 25, the State Committee for Affairs with Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons organized a performance "Khojaly - it happened" dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Khojaly genocide with the support of the International Mugam Center.
Before the performance prepared by the Azerbaijan State Pantomime Theater, the memory of the victims of the genocide was commemorated with a minute of silence.
Then they spoke about the grave consequences of Armenia's policy of aggression, the brutal crimes committed against our people, and expressed confidence that these crimes will not go unpunished, and the perpetrators of the Khojaly genocide will be brought to justice. It was noted that an independent and strong Azerbaijan is able and will end its occupation and restore its territorial integrity.
It was noted that President Ilham Aliyev reiterated the impossibility of maintaining the status quo in the panel discussions on the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict held within the Munich Security Conference.
They stressed the importance of conveying the truth of Azerbaijan to the whole world through the human language of art. The creative initiative of the State Pantomime Theater in this field was appreciated.
The talented staff of the theater presented the truth about the genocide committed by the Armenian occupiers against the peaceful Azerbaijani population in Khojaly on February 26, 1992 with the aesthetics of pantomime, one of the oldest forms of art.
