The “Sevinj.stories” project has been launched in the format of a social network diary reflecting the view of the Khojaly genocide through the eyes of a 9-year-old girl living in Khojaly.

Sevinj.stories shows us what would happen if 30 years ago there was Instagram and little Sevinj shared the events she had been witnessing in Khojaly as a social media story.

Although the characters are fictional, the footage depicts the real events based on the testimonies of the victims of the Khojaly genocide. The official social media accounts of the project will share short videos every day starting from February 1 until the day of remembrance of the tragedy. The audience viewing the stories of Sevinj will feel more deeply, empathizing with the people of Khojaly in what they were going through.

The main goal of this social media project intended for foreign and local audiences is to raise awareness of the world community about the Khojaly genocide, to commemorate the victims of the genocide and to ensure that it is not forgotten by the younger generation.
